The Siberian sturgeon is most present in all of the major Siberian river basins that drain northward into the Kara, Laptev and East Siberian seas. While wild catches have been generally declining, the Siberian sturgeon is increasingly farmed both for meat and to produce caviar from its roe. We decided to reintroduce this species into our fish farm because we believe that this species needs to be known and tasted by the general public. We recommend you to eat it smoked because our traditional tonir gives to this fish an incredible taste. You will never forget this culinary experience!
Rainbow trout are commercially farmed in many countries throughout the world. The practice began in the late 19th century, and since the 1950s commercial production has grown dramatically. A considerable amount of research has been conducted on redmouth disease, given its serious implications for rainbow trout farming. That’s why we decide to do differently. We recreated its natural environment thanks to our ground and our technologies: small to moderately large, well oxygenated, shallow rivers with gravel bottoms. Sevan Lake trout
This is our pride. The fish endangered, because various competitors were introduced into the lake during the Soviet period.A resolution by Armenia’s Council of Ministers in 1976 stopped the commercialfishing of Sevan trout and organized National Park “Sevan”. Weorganize its reproduction, its growing and its cooking for your greaterasure. In two years, our Sevan Lake trout reaches its optimal size and weight (approximately one kilo). Thanks to our cold water technique, its tasteis unique and unforgettable.
Like the Rainbow trout, this species is well-known by American and European consumers. But its quality decreases because of massive and artificialproduction systems. That’s why we put our energy to recreate its naturalenvironment and feeding. This trout loves fresh water and sun. You will feelthe difference when tasting. Its natural growing in our fish farm makes it foryou a really healthy product to eat.
The river trout is usually mistaken for the Lake trout. This fish likes also cold water and strong water streams. Thanks to our farm and its water flow of 150L per second, this species perfectly grows in our ponds. Again, it’s always a rediscovery for our clients.You will have the opportunity to taste it with five different ways thanks to our expert chief cook.
In this context of diversification and organic food production, our company decided 10 years ago to launch into caviar production. Like the fish production, our caviar is naturally prepared with hand-made techniques. We make three kind of caviar from the same rainbow trout species: yellow, red and orange caviar. This color differences are possible thanks to natural techniques and bioengineering expertise. We offer many packaging options: different packaging size, different packaging colors, etc. Now we are producing one of the best caviar of Armenia, by attaching importance to the usage of organic ingredients and methods.
